THE WRITER KEYBOARD
Writers write everywhere today, from coffee rooms, to parks. The writer is a portable mechanical keyboard built to support the mobility of the modern professional writer.
Since The Writer is fully mechanical, we decided to highlight it’s internal parts through semi transparent keys. Further building uon its novelty.
The Writer Keyboard is inspired by 19th century typewriters, with rounded off, dimpled keys that let fingers rest comfortably on them, making longer writing sessions less gruelling.
We also cut out the power cord and number pad, which most modern mechanical keyboards are tied to, to let the focus be on writing when writing and take up less space when moving.
